Saloon, Fixed Head Coupé, Drophead Head Coupé, Convertible, Volante, convertibles with hard top, in each series.
Each chapter describe the birth of the car, development, history, production and periodic road test. With different models for each chapter showing accurate pictures and artistic pictures, it will give you a precise understanding of the cars.
Technical details of each model, production numbers, identification, presentation side by side, outside & inside pictures of brochures and handbooks, useful car comparison, to understand them easily.
The main purpose is to give an extensive view of the evolution car per car with pictures and text all together gathered in a luxury slip case.

It is for me both a great honour and a privilege to be asked to write the foreword to these two volumes of Aston Martin books covering the period of Aston Martin manufacturing from the DB2 to the DB6. I commend Etienne Dricot and his team on their tremendous, effort, the quality of photography with such attention to detail that makes these particular Aston Martin books very special.

On the advice of Audoin, I subscribed in the AMOC English Club in 1992. I started to combine my passion for photography with the new one for Aston Martin. During my participation in the numerous events of the club I photographed all the cars met, so far having more than 15.000 pictures in the photo library. It was in 2009 during the Bonham’s auction that in the middle of a chat about the brand's books that the idea arisen to make a book in our turn to share our passion for the brand.
Since then, I have oriented my photo research on specific models to complement my already collection. Ten years later, the first two-volume book covering the years from DB2 to DB6 is now available for sale.
